Can YOU feel the beat? - the remix contest

Dear comrades,

Work has commenced on a new NACHTMAHR release and therefore our propaganda office is very pleased to announce the first NACHTMAHR remix contest. The song in question is "Can you feel the beat?" from Semper Fidelis and is free for your interpretation.

We hereby provide a full remix kit with orginal sounds snippets, vocal files and a midi file of the arrangement and everybody at HQ is very much looking forward to hearing various interpretations from NACHTMAHR fans worldwide.

THE RULES:

- Deadline for Submission of an MP3 file in 192 kbps is 30th April 2011 12:00 CET

- Please use a hosting service like yousendit.com / rapidshare.com / mediafire.com / sprend.com or similar to upload your track, do NOT send MP3s directly

- Send the link to your track to propaganda@nachtmahr.at

- the original vocals provided or part of them have to be used in the track. If you feel like re-singing the vocals or adding vocals yourself, please do so. Stick to the original lyrics though

- Creativity counts. Feel free to change the style of the song, add your own instruments or do whatever you can think of to make it stand out

- The winner will be selected by Thomas Rainer himself as well as DJane Pink Foamy (Vienna, Austria) and DJane Totentanz (Philadelphia, USA) and will be featured on the next release alongside some of the biggest names in the scene

- Even if you don't win the slot on the next NACHTMAHR release, your remix might be selected for another purpose (e.g. compilations, downloads from the offical website)

- NACHTMAHR retains all the rights to the remix and if it is not selected as one of the winning entries must not be made available at all.

With the release of Semper Fidelis, NACHTMAHR expand their claim to power once more! Known as a force to reckon with in the current industrial scene, supreme commander Thomas Rainer will please his army of nightmare warriors and the members of the imperial guard with a musical output that is more empowered, matured and combat ready than ever before.



To commemorate this event that will leave nobody unopinionated, our Propaganda Department will launch the offical NACHTMAHR website at www.nachtmahr.at to serve as your future main source of information surrounding the band.

We also want to renew our invitation to our exclusive release events. So dress in your best uniform, get down there and celebrate the album NACHTMAHR Style - and maybe even win some of the amazing prices that are given away!

The Art of Semper Fidelis, Orkus and Dates

Apart from the merciless and bass-drum ridden arangements the artwork plays a very important role in the world of NACHTMAHR. This also remains true for Semper Fidelis which is due for release Friday 26th Nov 2010. We include a sneak peak into the lavish art of Semper Fidelis in this newsletter, so you can see for yourself what the modern interpretation of the project's totalitarian imperial style looks like.



All German speakers can read more about the new style of artwork, the musical development of NACHTMAHR and Thomas Rainer's plans for world domination in an exclusive interview in the December issue of ORKUS magazine (www.orkus.de) that is availble from tomorrow.

Included with this magazine is a DVD about Amphi festival which features a live video clip of "Weil ich's kann" from said Festival and a video interview with the Supreme Commander himself.
